Five College Movers were absolutely fantastic. They were unbelievably flexible with all the changes of our moving date. We even ended up having to change from a one day to a two day move and they were ready to accommodate. They were super responsive, profrssional and reliable when planning and discussing our move. All of the movers were also very polite and treated our belongings with extreme care. Honestly, they were the least stressful part of the whole home buying process and we would recommend them over and over again.

The team showed up a little early and were amazing. They got everything quickly and securely wrapped and needed little direction from me which was really nice because I was feeling overwhelmed with the move. I was surprised at how little directing was needed, honestly. They made a stressful experience easy and as painless as possible. They helped with things I ran out of boxes for and items were moved with care. Excellent team, and very kind movers. Love that they set up my disassembled furniture for me, too!! Would definitely use again and highly recommend!

Awesome local moving company!! Reasonable price but the service you get is first rate. Every step of the process was positive. They were flexible when I had an unexpected move and the communication was excellent. Every staff member was super friendly and helpful. Matt and Eddie were great movers, efficient and careful. Overall just a great local business and I would definitely use them again.

Everything went perfect, they showed exactly on time, took great care in wrapping furniture up, put stuff on truck in order of when it would be coming off as went to two locations, never rushed, both workers did great job. Would def recommend them to others and will def use them again in future.

We recently used 5 College Movers to transport furniture for a client moving into memory care. This was a bit overwhelming for this family as one could imagine. Our movers were prompt, courteous, and handled the move very efficiently. We will definitely use 5 College Movers again!

We couldn’t have asked for better.My wife works from home and they worked around her and were considerate of the fact that she had to make calls etc.They waited until she was available to ask her questions if I was unavailable and they kept the noise down.They moved faster than we could keep up.Anything that “wasn’t right” was more on our part for not being better prepared, In other words if you order this service don’t expect miracles if you don’t have your shit at least somewhat together.Will use them again soon hopefully same crew so I can tip them this time.It happened so fast at the end and then they were gone before I could even think about it.Sorry guys.😔

These movers were incredible! They were timely, efficient and extremely kind! Everything was moved effortlessly without a single scratch. They protected door frames, floors etc with proper equipment. They even salted our driveway for their protection. They put everything back together for us and asked us if we wanted anything rearranged and they would be glad to help. They also were down to earth and easy to spend the day with, that is important! Ryan and his team were excellent and I would recommend them 100 times over.

I hired Five College Movers to move my mother from one senior facility to another, and the whole experience was excellent. Heath and Jack handled the move itself and were fantastic—super accommodating to me and to the staff at both facilities. They wrapped and packed everything carefully, so nothing was damaged, and even took the extra step of protecting door frames and covering floors. Despite being so careful, they were also quick—start to finish, the move took about 4 hours between two third-floor apartments 10 miles apart.Every piece of furniture they disassembled was rebuilt perfectly, and not a single item was scratched or broken. The final cost came in exactly as quoted, with the hourly rate and estimated hours laid out clearly up front. On the scheduling side, Phil in the back office was great—flexible with winter weather and made sure the move happened on the original date and time.I had zero problems, and the whole process was stress-free. I’ve already recommended Five College Movers to other seniors at my mother’s former facility, and I’ll keep passing along their cards. Truly a reliable, professional, and friendly team.

I had a great experience with Five College Movers! Even though they had to delay their arrival time due to an emergency, they were extremely professional and offered solutions that would still ensure I would be able to get everything moved that weekend. They were extremely fast and efficient and made sure they were careful with my things. When we arrived at my new apartment they were able to get everything up a very tricky flight of stairs and even offered to rearrange things for me if it wasn't exactly where I wanted it. I would highly recommend them!

The move went great .Carl and.... So embarrassing I can't remember his name. He was a marine. I remember that. Both of them were super nice and they are really good at what they do. They arrived on time - actually a little early - and started packing right away. Everything was well protected and then packed into the truck.By happenstance, we ended up following them most of the way to Springfield. I was impressed at how cautiously they drive. Moving in was just as efficient as moving out. Everything came inside and was quickly placed in the correct position. Then they cleaned up and were done.Their customer service skills are excellent. I was never nervous or concerned at any time during the day. Excellent experience. I recommend them highly.

Had five College movers move me the weekend of November 8th 2025. I had the pleasure of working with Karl & Gilgert. These gentlemen were the most professional, caring and hard-working men I have ever seen! They were careful with my furniture they always kept asking if there was any more they could do. They took great care with my furniture, for I did have antiques, wrapped everything and moved with Incredible speed I couldn't believe it.I highly recommend these Movers and if and when down the road I move again I will use them without hesitation! My Aunt used these movers and I was there helping pack up. They were excellent in everything they did. My Aunt has an old house and they were not able to get a box spring out before removing a stair lift. They removed the stair lift without any problems. They were quick and willing to do what ever we asked with a smile. I highly recommend Five College Guys

All around great experience. I called very last minute, on a Thursday morning needing movers over the weekend for a local move. The team at FCM was amazing. From the guy that answered my original phone call, the 3 man team they sent me on Saturday, to the post move follow up. They worked with me every step of the way and made sure I was taken care of. Its one of the first times in recent memory where a company actually treated me like a customer and not just a number. Compliments to the owner(s) for employing the team you have, and a sincere thank you to the team that facilitated my move.
